Add the plums and the star anise to a baking sheet.
When the oven is ready, bake the plums for 25-30 minutes until they are tender.
Take the plums and the star anise out of the oven and let them cool for a while.
Remove and discard the star anise and blend the plums in a blender until the puree has the preferred consistency.
